Nike Airforce One White-Mid Cut Version

I like Mid-Cut version and my very first pair of Airforce One are Mid Cut. I find that it's very comfortable and protects your angle. What type of version do you like? Low Cut, Mid-Cut or Hi-Cut? Most of the Nike Airforce One Fan like the Low Cut Version than the Mid-Cut Version. Guess one of the reason is Low Cut Version are easier wear it on... As for in Singapore they prefer Low Cut version are because of the HOT Weather...

Weekends is here! Nike Shoe shopping. Great Singapore Sales.

What do you do on your weekends? For me I will meet up with my girlfriend at Orchard area. We will have our usual tea-break at several places. Han's Cafe at Far East Plaza will be the most idea place for a comfortable tea-break. I usually will order a cup of coffee and a Ham and Chesee sandwich. While my girlfriend will have her favourite milk tea with cake or bread. We can spend several hours reading newspaper and magazine. After that we will go our separate way,  I go check out the Leftfoot for Nike Shoes. She will heads to the ladies stores for shoes, handbags and dress. Almost all the Nike Store along Orchard Road I will pay a visit. If I really want to get a pair of limited edition shoe, it would be at LeftFoot or Limited Edition Store. Singapore Nike Store does not carry lots of Limited Edition Shoe. This month will be Great Singapore Sales. where you will see all the department stores slashing their prices and other offers. Most of my Nike Shoes are brought during the sales. The Best Sale will be the wing Tai Nike Sales where they have it every year. The Airforce One, the older model selling for $69.90 to $89.90.

Shoe Magazine Photos.

Here are some of the Shoe Magazines which I wants to share with you guys.

What kind of Shoe Magazine do you read?

Every month I would read up Sole Collector, Sneaker Freaker, Shoes Master, Milk Magazines and others publications which has Nike and other Sneakers news. Each magazines has it's own style of layouts and reportage of the Sneaker News. I like the Japanese Shoe Magazine for their wonderful photography and graphic design layout. But there are in Japanese which I do not understand which is a pity. So Sole Collector would be the best as it is published in English. I had learnt a great deal of shoes informations from it. Although we can easily obtain the Sneaker informations from the thousands of Sneaker Website. But I still prefer the Old School way of reading the Shoe Magazine or Books. But I guess we have to be selective in buying the shoe magazines as it would be a big sum of money if you total it up every month!

How do I keep my Nike Airforce One?

As my Nike collection keep growing, I face the most common storage problem. Keeping the Nike shoe inside the show box is fine. But not when you want to store them neatly and easy to access to your shoe when you need them... I use the Ikea transparent box to solve my problem. It's compact and transparent so that it's easy for me to locate the Nike Shoe I wants to wear. The Ikea storage and the Nike Shoe fit nicely in it. The transparent box cost $5.00 while the lid cost $1.00. Recently I found this pretty cool transparent box when was mentioned on this website. http://sneakernews.com/2009/05/19/plexiglass-sneaker-box-customized-for-mayor/ Think it's very cool! Check it out. But I am happy with my Ikea Storage Box.

More Photos of the Boon Magazines

Here are the rest of the photos. Enjoy it.

The Japanese Magazine which introduced Nike Airforce One to me.

This is the Japanese Magazine which I wanted to show to you guys. 10 years ago Nike Airforce One wasn't easy to buy it. You have to get those shoes from Penisular Plaza Sport Shop or Queensway Shopping Centre. And it is very expensive in those days. Kinokuniya was the only Japanese Book Store in Singapore where you can get FineBoys or Boon Magazine. So this is the only sources for me to check out the latest Nike Airforces One and other Nike Kicks. You have to admired those Japanese who done a great jobs. They done a great details on the Nike Airforce One History, reseach, photography and layouts. Till now the Japanese still has the best layout and reseach on their magazine. Thought I cannot read those Japanese but I certainly admired the nicely shot Nike Airforces One. As you can see my bookshelf full of the kick magazine, Boon Magazine stands out the most! Enjoy the photos :)

But I think it's worth it. Guys go check it out if you wants to get any bargains. I saw Air Jordan shoes selling a a discount prices. After trying it, I decided to echanged it from another pair of Jordan Show which my friends brought it for me as my birthday present. Thanks all the friends from BBDO :)

Why I like Nike Airforces One?

Finally I decided to write some thing on this long awaited blog. The last post was done last year!!! This will be my number 2 post and hopefully i am able to carry on to number 3... Many years back while I am an Art Student of NAFA. I came across this Japanese Magazine, Fine Boys. It's an Street Fashion Magazine. Back in those days, you can't get just a pair of Nike Airforce One. Nike Singapore just won't bring them in! Only certain places like shops at Penisular Plaza, Queensway Shopping Centre and People's Park Shoe Shops. In those days Limited Edt and Left Foot was not even existed. But those pair of Nike Airforce One will cost you more than what it cost today. Back them it was selling $169 or $179 for a pair of General Release collections. I am not able to afford the shoe at those time. The only thing I could is to admire those Nike Airforces One from the Magazines. I told myself once I stared working I will buy myself a pair of it.

The fact was Nike Airforce One was not popular in Singapore and it's too costly. Other Nike shoe model are more highly in demanded. Like the Air Jordan and Airmax 90. I remembered till this day the very first Airforce One which I brought. It's was the Mid-Cut Version with the Green and Grey Nike Swoosh by the side, white body. I brought it at World of Sports at the Tampines Shopping Mall. It cost me around 149.90 after discounted. By the way I only buy discounted Nike Shoes or those from the wagon where you won't get the shoe box.. I wore the Airforce One for one whole year. I wore it to work and every where I go! One year for One Pair of Airforce One. It was the most comfortable shoe I had ever wear till now.
